The Walworth County Historical Society works to preserve the history of the area through the Webster House Museum, buildings on the Walworth County Fairgrounds and through the Doris Reinke Resource Center next to the Webster House. Shop at our annual book sale fundraiser held on the fairgrounds during the Walworth County Fair.

Museum opens May 8, 2013. They will be open Wed-Sat 1-4pm, and by appointment & for group tours.

Visit this well-maintained white clapboard house nestled on a quiet street containing Civil War and Victorian period items. The composer Joseph Philbrick Webster once owned the home. Both the structure and its famous owner played an important part of the history of Elkhorn, Wisconsin.
